Project Description
Dr. Pepper– Northlake, IL
Johler was hired to complete the remaining 170,000 SF of demolition of the 700,000 total square footage of the original scope. For the fourth time in recent years, Johler was asked to step in and complete a time-sensitive project when a competing demolition company went out of business. Johler crushed 30,000 tons of concrete to a CA6 product for reuse on site and finished the building separation from Dr. Pepper’s current work space. Johler has been selected to continue the next phase of demolition at the former 1.5 million SF Dr. Pepper campus, which includes demolition of the former powerhouse/boiler house and the second water tower related to this site.
