Johler was hired to wreck 900,000 SF of wood bowstring and masonry structure previously housing many various commercial tenants. Johler salvaged 3,700,000 Chicago Common Bricks for future use. Johler processed 5,000 tons of lumber for several different uses, to ensure they did not end up in a landfill. 3,100 tons of ferrous and non-ferrous metal were recycled and 4,000 tons of demolition debris was hauled to a local recycling facility. Johler crushed 78,000 tons of concrete material on site to be used for the new construction.
